Tell your story
We’re thrilled you’re considering contributing to The Fourth Pole. Before you submit, please take a moment to read our single, but essential, rule:
Rule(s)
Rule #1: Respect.
We value bold, unconventional perspectives. In fact, we encourage them. You don’t need to stick to the mainstream—as long as your work is grounded in thoughtfulness and integrity, we want to hear it.
However, respect is the foundation of our platform. We will not accept submissions that:
- Promote hate or discrimination
- Dehumanize or demonize any group
- Call for or glorify violence
- Are intentionally offensive or inflammatory
Disagreement is natural, and being challenged is part of growth. But our community thrives when contributions are made in good faith and with a genuine desire to understand others.

Submission Guidelines
Language: At this time, we’re only accepting submissions in English. We hope to expand language support in the future, but for now, we’re not equipped to properly review work in other languages.
Length: We’re looking for essays and opinion pieces between 800 and 1,400 words. If you’d like to go shorter or longer, please send us a pitch first—we’ll do our best to accommodate.
